It is argued that it’s a good idea to make military service for men and women compulsory in many countries. I agree with this statement because military service offers necessary soft skills and also can reduce the unemployment rate.
Apply on military service can give individuals soft skills that are required in their future jobs. This service trains people on doing household chores perfectly and efficiently; it also trains a person’s discipline and team working skills. This skills are required in every working environment and help them to be adapt to new environment easier, and being promoted faster. For example, research shows that majority of the people came back from this training service often being promoted in their working environment because of their soft skills gained from this service.
Additionally, this service offers jobs for unemployed people. For example, they can be a solider after they finish their training. This creates more opportunities for the unemployed to get a job and get salary to pay for their living fees and overall decrease the rate for unemployment. For instinct, a survey in a region of United States shows that after making military service compulsory, the unemployment rate decreased significantly.
In conclusion, many countries should make this training service compulsory for men and women because it helps people learn soft skills and decrease the unemployment rate.
