These days, the number of folks relocating far away from their loved ones for jobs has sparked debate regarding its benefits and drawbacks. Although this trend has certain disadvantages, I believe the advantages are more significant.
On the one hand, the drawbacks of leaving away from their friends and families are varied. To begin with, the labourers have to deal with distancing loved ones, which makes it difficult for them to visit their parents and siblings easily. As a result, they often fall into loneliness, which will positively affect their psychology if it lasts. Additionally, if people constantly transfer from their hometowns to big cities, local companies will experience a shortage of human resources. This issue can affect the development of the business. For example, Vietnam is a country that often suffers from brain drain because high-quality labor tends to work abroad after studying. This situation greatly affects the sustainable development of the country.
On the other hand, I suppose the benefits of moving away from their hometown would eclipse those analyzed disadvantages. Firstly, when leaving, they can earn more money in the corporations with higher salaries and development opportunities. For instance, most great companies are usually headquartered in big cities, so there are many positions being recruited in different fields, and the number of jobs also has advancement in various ways. Secondly, in the dynamic environment of cities, each individual will learn more new skills as well as independence, which help them to be more courageous and mature, improving both intellectually and physically.
In conclusion, despite some drawbacks in terms of relocating away from loved ones, they are still overshadowed by the significant merits of living and working away from family and friends. This will trend around the world nowadays.
