The two charts illustrate the allocation of the world’s water, while the table give information about the utilization of water in some sectors in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
Overall, the salt water accounted for over Four-fifths all water, whereas ground water stood at less than quarter of fresh water. Regarding the table, the use of water is showed three different sectors.
According to the pie charts, salt water made up 95% of total water. On the other hand, ice and glaciers recorded three quarters of fresh water, while the lowest percentages experienced around 2%. Likewise, the ground water showed less than 25% of total fresh water.
Turning to the table, the highest percentage of using water experienced 84% at agriculture sector in Egypt. Moreover, water usage in domestic sector is recorded around 15% in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Compared with domestic sector, the field of industry show a small decrease around 5% in Saudi Arabia. Although, the lowest percentages of using water recorded at agriculture in Canada, while the industrial sector accounted for 80% of total water usage.
