Dear Jake,

I’m just writing to let you know that I’ve changed my job and have been promoted to a senior project manager.

At my previous company, I was not satisfied with my career growth, so I started looking for better opportunities, and last week I got an offer from one of the giant construction firms in town. They offered me a senior position with a five-figure salary and four weeks’ vacation. Moreover, the office is close to my home, which also shortens the traveling time during rush hours.

Talking about a new job, I am the head of the department, leading multiple projects in various countries. It also required frequent traveling and attending international conferences on behalf of my new company.

With this recent job switch, my family, especially my kids, is very happy. We are also planning to visit you sometime next month on weekends. I am excited to meet you after almost a year.

Best Wishes,

Bhavik
