Band 6+: Education for young people is important in many countries. However, some people think that the government should spend more money on education for the adult population who cannot read and write. Do you agree or disagree?

The debate surrounding whether the authority should invest more capital on popularize literacy rate on younger generations or adults who did not obtain this ability previously remains highly contentious. Some people argue that it’s more essential to educating younger ones since they will occupy dominant positions in the future, while others contend that adults should be widely popularized with these skills. In my opinion, both of the groups should be invested.

It is widely acknowledged that youger generation may lead the future world prodominantly, so paying ineducation is indispensable. Since words are the essential tools for them to communicate or explore further in academic knowledge, this will result in advancement and innovation in distinct fields. Additionally, younger generations are always eager to accept new technicals and knowledge, with significant flexibility and accessibility, they can generate these skills more swiftly, which can be apply practically into different domains, particularly if they being as the principal force in the division of labor in the whole society.

However, depleting the illiteracies is also significant in today’s world. With the introduction of cutting-edge technologies, words are common to see everywhere, ranging from hospitals to underground stations. Without reading and writing abilities, they may loss convenience in such public occasions, thereby increasing the workload and pressure of the staffs. This can lead to unnecessary expenditure on public resources. Besides that, if some of the illiteracies gain these skills, they can transform into high quality works rather than repetitive works, this transformation can offer them better living standards due to the stable income. Therefore the total welfare can be improved in the society.

In conclusion, the administration should take response of both groups in education. Education is the foundation of developing so ignoring anyone of them is infeasible. Only the comprehensive measure can contribute to an advanced and convenient society for all dwellers.
