The given diagram demonstrates the process by which jeans are manufactured from cotton material. Overall, this procedure consists of three main stages, beginning with the jeans making of raw material from cotton fields and ending with the production of physical or online retailers.
In the initial stage, raw materials from cotton fields in Asia (India or China) undergoes water and chemicals which are processed in 160 days, followed by the addition of fibre harvested and separated to ensure its cleanliness. Moving on to the second stage, the cotton fabric is washed, bleached, dyed and spun into yarn at a factory. Cotton denims are used to facilitate the adding of elastane , resulting in a textile factory, which is then directed to the next stage.
At the third stage, the production involves cutting and sewing denim in another factory where buttons and zips are added. Subsequently, the production of denim was completed by the tailors, ensuring its quality, before shipping to distribution centers such as the USA and Europe. Finally, the jean denims are displayed at physical and online retailers.
