The two provided maps illustrate the layout of Central Park over a 30-year period, from 1990 to 2020.
Overall, the park underwent significant changes, with several new facilities added to improve functionality and entertainment options for visitors. While some core features like the Krishna temple, children’s play area, Buddha statue, and koi pond remained, others were removed or relocated.
In 1990, the park featured a large flower garden in the north, a toilet facility to the east of the garden, and an entrance centrally located on the south side. To the west were a children’s play area and a Krishna temple. A telephone booth was situated near the entrance, with shops to its east and a koi pond in the southeast corner. A Buddha statue was centrally located.
By 2020, the park’s layout had been modernized. The large flower garden was reduced in size to accommodate a new stage for programs and a Museum of Local History in the northeast. The toilet was relocated from the north to the southwest corner. The telephone booth was removed, replaced by a cafe near the entrance. The shops were consolidated into a single shop unit. The entrance was moved slightly east, now located on the eastern boundary of the park.
