Overall in 1910 those area was small only for locals, like industrial zone. However after 100 years Charlwood town become more urban, opened new buildings and town became bigger.
In 1910 Charlwood town was similar as a village. There located forest on the north and was main road that started from north and continued to the west. Opposite the main road located railways and there were train station in the east. Moreover in the east also located school. On the side, close to main road were houses and big factory (that was close to the river). On the other side, across the river was farm.
In 2010 town became bigger, forest replaced to the park and on the west opened car parking that connected to the main road. Moreover on the old place where was factory, builted shop and other buildings became bigger. Train station become bigger twice and school replaced to another place, that close to the south, on the other river coast.
