Education has become essential in this modern era, where many people seek study to get a better job, hence students are expected to dedicate enough time to their studies. However, there are some circumstances that do not allow people to focus on their studies because they need to spend time working. In the essay, I will share my thoughts about the reason for this problem and the solution I can propose to help people balance it.
Every student has different situations and circumstances. Some of the students are forced to work when they are in school or university. I think the main reason for it is the financial need where families cannot fully support them, so they need to depend on themselves for the expenses and tuition. Therefore, this would affect their educational result, as they are unable to focus on their courses and exams while it also puts them in a pressure where they need to study and work at the same time.
There are some solutions I can suggest to solve the problem. First of all, if universities offer scholarships, you can try to apply for it. Also, governments could give financial aid for students who need it. Lastly, if learners are smart enough and have good scores during high school, there are a lot of public institutions right now where students can apply for a scholarship and pay back to the institution in the future as a 2 years contract to work with them after completing the study. By doing so, students will be motivated and have a dedicated time for their studies instead of spending time doing work, therefore, it will impact their grades.
In conclusion, working while studying is not a good solution because it will give pressure to the students and affect their grades due to the limit of time they have every day. By implementing my solution, such as find scholarship or aid from institution, students can get benefit to focus on their studies rather than spend time to work during their prime age.
