It is clear that the lion’s share of the total percantage belongs to computer games and dancing in the latter. By contrast, listening to music ranks last in both countries in terms of the level of free time.
Regarding boys in low-income households, listening to music recorded 10%, as opposed to reading, the figures for which account for 5 percantage points lower. In comparison, there is an eight percent difference between the share of boys8 playing basketball and computer games, which constitute 26% to 34%, respectively. In a similar manner, the percantage of soccer is under 6%, times as much as skateboarding, nearly 17% to 11%, respectively.
Turning to girls in high-income households, the proportion of dancing, reading, computer games, and netball is almost 69% of the total together.
