In the upcoming years, individuals will not utilize cash to pay for stuffs they purchase in the stores. All payment methods must be made cashless either by card or mobile phone. I personally think that this phenomenon will be definitely going to occur years later, unfortunately some people will be unhappy for nor using cash for their payment.
I believe that in the future people will tend to choose paying their stuffs they buy with phone or card, because utilizing these form of payment is safer and more convenient instead of paying by cash where people feel it is inconvenient because they have to carry their wallet whenever they go, otherwise they only have to carry either their phone or card to made their payment. For example, people whose job have to move a lot of while carrying stuffs at once such as courier will complicate their work if they have to take out some cashes from their wallet whenever they have to purchase things, but with cashless payment it will be so much convenient and fast for them to make the payment either by card or by phone.
Unfortunately, this phenomenon has other side to look into, it is when several people will feel less satisfied, this usually come from the elderly who are used to pay with cash, and think that cashless payment is complicated, and this is very reasonable for them to feel this way as they do not own the same level of digital awareness as the younger generations are. For instance, when some people want to buy some breads in a store, and when they want to pay for their meals, the staff says that they only accept cashless payment, this makes them who intended to buy the breads must cancel the purchase.
To conclude this, I opine that cashless payment is a digital improvement when all payment will be made using digital tools and not by cash, and it will be happen very soon in years ahead. But this improvement will always have other side when some group of people who will be less satisfied using this cashless payment method.
