The bar graph illustrates the proportion of men and women teachers in 6 different types of educational setting in the UK during 2010.
On the whole, it can be clearly seen from the chart that women had a bigger figure than men in nurseryPre-school, primary school and secondary school.
In detail, looking at the rate of nurseryPre-school, women recorded around 95% and this was higher than men with approximately 5%. Males did not show as great figure as females with 90% in primary school by 80%. There was also another larger percentage of women with 50% in secondary school ,compared to men with 45%.
Turning to the other categories, private training institute and university, however, the opposite trend holds true. Females with 45% was smaller than males with 50% in private training institute. The rate of men had a higher figure than women with 70% and 30% respectively.
It is interesting to note that both the proportion of males and females were same in college.
