The two charts illustrate the differences between the proportion of energy produced from different resources in a country in 1985 and 2003. We can see there are six different resourses such as oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear, hydro and other renewable. Overall, the amount of resourses used was changed by years.
First, both pie charts represent oil is the most used among other resources. In 1985, oil occupied the half of pie chart as 53% is used. However, oil is used only 39% in 2003 and it is showed that 13% of oil used declined. Next, the use of nuclear was more popular in 1985 than that of in 2003. Plus, we can see 14% of nulear used fall. Then, the use of natural gas was more common in 2003 than that of in 1985. And 10% of natural gas used increased. As natural gas, the useage of coal was raised by 14% in 2003 when compared with in 1985.
Moreover, the pie charts showed the use of hydropower seemed unchanged in those years. Although hydropower remained constant, we could see the development of other renewable resources. It increased 1% in 1985 to 4% in 2003.
In conclusion, this is the analysis of the two pie charts and we found out that the use of the resources for energy was varied year by year.
