Overall, most of the people who were born both in Australia and outside the Australia was residing in cities throughout the period. However, second largest number of people had lived in rural areas in the beginning, this number was rapidly decreasing in the end of the period. Moreover, the exact number of Australian individuals were staying in both town and rural areas.
In 1995, the highest amount of individuals who were Australians had been staying in cities, comprising about 55 percent, while people residing in rular areas was about more than a third, which was nearly 10% less than the people living in cities. Whereas, the lowest number of people stayed in town, at only about 19%. People who were not native Australians had the large population living in cities at three fifths. Similarly, the people living in rural areas was about 40% of population and almost 10% in town.
After 15 years, the population residing in both Australians and non-Australians had rapidly increased by more than 60% and exact 80% respectively. Moreover, Australians living in both town and rural areas were exact number of people, acounting for more than 15%. Similarly, non-Australians population living in town and rural areas were less than 10% and about 5% respectively, rural population was slightly declined by more than 5%.
