Nowadays, travelling has become a popular activity in society. This is because people see how others share their culture and natural landscapes on social media, which attracts tourists. As a result, many individuals want to explore the diverse cultures of different nations and broaden their horizons. I believe this is mainly because people have become bored with their own culture and want to experience something new, and I personally agree that this is a positive development.
One reason why many people are curious about travelling is that they are bored with their daily routine and have already visited most attractions in their city. Moreover, some countries have low temperatures, so countries with a hot climate and visa-free entry are especially attractive to citizens. Therefore, travelling abroad allows people to experience new environments and enjoy a change from their daily routine. For instance, many people from northern Europe travel to Southeast Asia during the winter to enjoy warm beaches and tropical scenery.
Furthermore, some people may think that there are many disadvantages to travelling abroad, because they leave their country of origin and may not return. However, I believe that individuals who have gone abroad will eventually return and contribute to technological and social development in their home country. This is because some other cultures are more advanced than a person’s own culture, so people can learn from them and even make new discoveries. For example, many explorers and scientists have travelled around the world, gained knowledge from different countries, and achieved success as a result of their experiences abroad.
In conclusion, travelling helps people explore new cultures, gain experiences, and broaden their horizons. In my opinion, despite some disadvantages, its benefits for personal growth and society are greater.
