Overall, the Fenris has become modernized and tourist-friendly. The elimination of shops, houses, cafe and park, theatre, trees and bank. Paved the way for blocks of flats, supermarket, hotel and golf course, cinema, restaurant, technopark while the existing features such as high street, playing fields with trees, hospital, library, school have stayed largely untouched.
In 1990, Fenris used to boast a relatively simple interior layout. There used to be shops located in the south-east, which were connected to the theatre in the south. Houses were situated in the east. The cafe and park opposite to the houses in the east, which was adjacent to the high street. The high street ran from south to north. When it comes to playing fields with trees, it was positioned in the north. The school was located in the top-left corner. The bank was situated in the west. The hospital was located in the middle area. There used to be a library positioned in the south-west. Finally, the trees were occupied in the south-west.
Fast forward to 2012, the Fenris has undergone significant transformation. Previously shops cleared to leave space for the supermarket. Where there had once been houses , there are now blocks of flats. Cinema come at the expense of removing theatre. Cafe and park replace the hotel and golf course. The high street remained unchanged in the middle area. Playing fields with trees, school and library remained unchanged in their place. The restaurant was built instead of a band. The technopark took the place of the trees. Lastly, hospital has been expanded to accommodate more people and tourists, respectively.
