It is commonly believed that,with the the increasing access of translation technology,some argue that second language is becoming less essential.Both benefits and disadvantages of this view will be discussed and at the end writers opinion will be given.
In recent years,due to the modern digital technologies being widespread throughout the world it should be considered that these certain ai based programs enabling languages being translated into multiple means of communication easily.While these sources of communication may replace a bunch of human jobs, i strongly support the idea that people should not stop choosing to learn some other languages.
On the one hand,despite the fact that nowadays people are concerned about the powerful abilities of latest technologies,especially ai based ones being advanced to become more capable of assisting in language translation and education may take places of numerous high paying professions such as:translator,teacher,even some serious professions like writers.According to that threats to the decline of human performed occupations,the cohort of language learners observed as being decreased.Regardless of its disadvantegous sites,the provided opportunities of technologies,for example:opening an extremely beneficial road for intercultural communication,new and manageable ways for teaching must be taken into account.Moreover,translation technologies and other similar artificial intelligence programs can potentially create job opportunities for humanbeings.
On one hand,limited language knowledge among people reflects a diminishing understanding of foreign countries and a decrease in acquiring various useful practical skills.Becoming educated with other several languages for humans can make strong connection between multiple cultures,and encourage an increase in historical knowledge among travelers and tourists.
Although,these two ideas holds both advantages and disadvantages on it,i am on board with this perspective that educating people with additional language should never be stopped ,instead government must enhance lingustic educating ways among all.
