The table shows the percentage of boys ( aged between 6 and 16 ) in two diffrent groups who engaged in sports such as football, basketball, cricket, rugby, swimming in the UK in the year of 2010.
Overall, football is considered to be the most popular sport compared to other sports among the boys. On the other hand, swimming is the least engaged sport in both groups.
When it comes to football, boys who age between 6 and 11 takes up 87%, passing the other group of boys who age between 12 and 16 which has 78%. As for swimming, both groups are coincidentally on the same percentage with 19%.
As for the remaining sports, the percentage of boys playing basketball, cricket and rugby seem to be decreasing as the boys turn to the age of 12-16. Cricket started out with a good percentage of 45 and ended with 34% at the age of 12-16. The percentage of boys playing Rugby which is in the same case of swimming only differs about 2 percent between two groups.
