In today’s developing and fast-paced world, economic progress is increasing rapidly. With the rise of many economic pratices such as mass logistics, advanced manufacturing, and resource extraction, there have been numerous concerns regarding the impact on the environment. Critics argue that economic advancement and environment conservation cannot be both facilitated sustainably. Overall, I disagree with this opinion, and this essay will determine both perspectives before giving my own.
Many critics project that as the economy advances to a certain degree, practices that augment it would negatively affect the environment. Sucessive industrial manufacturing needed to sustain certain economies, such as automobile manufacturing, food processing, and others, could harm the environment. Side effects of the sector can include air pollution, water contamination, and the destruction of vital ecosystems, which could facilitate global warming and extinction. Furthermore, increased economic activity could result in more transportation being used to supply and deliver produce. Trucks and ships could increase air pollution and reduce the global supply of fossil fuel, which is limited. This, along with increased resource extraction, could deplete fuel and material deposits, and augument environmental destruction through careless planning.
Some people argue, however, that economic progresss can facilitate and even aenvironmental sustainability. Although economic solutions such as manufacturing or produce transportation can harm the natural world, they reason that careful planning and rigorous monitoring can negate harmful impact. With sustainable manufacturing, such as using eco-friendly materials, and careful waste management and depositing, we could lessen negative impact. Although it is undeniable that increased logistic and resource extraction can destroy the environment, both of those problems can be ruduced through the use of sustainable fueling methods, which is developing rapidly. In the future, there is a possibility that we could rely more on energy from the sun, wind, and water, to reduce fossil fuel use. Economic advancement could support innovative power solutions.
In summary, although some people argue that economic progress with environmental development is unlikely, I mostly disagree with this opinion. While they have convincing arguments, I reason that through careful planning, excessive monitoring, and innovation, we can increase economic movement while preserving the natural world.
