France showed a more stable trend. Prices stayed at $2 from 1996 to 1998, then decreased to about $1.5 in 1999. After rising again to $2 in 2000, the figure fell slightly to around $1.7 in 2002 before returning to $2 by 2003 and remaining unchanged in 2004.
Germany’s prices fluctuated more significantly, while the USA remained the lowest, varying only slightly between $1 and $1.3 throughout the period.
