The map illustrates how Brighton University, formerly Brighton Collge, has been altered between 1970 and 2010.
Overall, Brighton College has seen several changes from 1970 to 2010. Some buildings have been removed or relocated, while some has been adjusted its size.
Firstly, the dormitory has replaced some of the university centre building, moving from the southwest of the college. It is now placed at the south of the university centre. As a result of displacement, the university centre is now smaller in 2010 than in 1970. On the contrary, the dormitory is bigger in 2010.
Secondly, there are now two new parts of the university. Coffee shops and Granger school of business have replaced the hall of medicine and dormitory at the southwest of the campus between 1970 and 2010. While dormitory has been moved to the different part of the campus, the hall of medicine is now unseen on the map.
