It is often argued whether students can gain more knowledge from their teachers or through other sources, such as the internet or television. In my opinion, although there is a wide range of information available on the internet, teachers still play a pivotal role in enhancing students’ knowledge.

On the one hand, the internet has a wealth of data in various fields. This is mainly because there are numerous websites with a great number of intriguing books, articles and video lessons. Such internet sources bring numerous benefits to students, improving their overall academic performance over time. Not only do are such teaching sources are portable, but they also do not charge people for using them. This development can be especially advantageous for those from financially constrained backgrounds, as they can easily utilize such sources without spending substantial money on purchasing physical books.

On the other hand, teachers also play a crucial role in shaping students’ knowledge. One major reason is that students may face some difficulties seeking knowledge on online platforms. For example, they may not be able to understand some video lessons on the internet. In such cases, if students struggle to understand online lessons, they may gain detailed explanations from their teachers in person. As a result, they can achieve significant academic accomplishments in the future. Moreover, teachers are not only important in terms of obtaining face-to-face lessons, but they can also motivate their students during lessons, which can accelerate the learning process and encourage students to learn more. Ultimately, students can develop strong expertise in their chosen fields in the long run.

In conclusion, although online teaching sources are invaluable to students, teachers can greatly benefit students by sharing in-depth knowledge. In my opinion, students should foster their knowledge through using both their teachers and online sources.
