In recent decades, global environmental issues, particularly climate change and pollution, have intensified and are having a direct impact on human life. There is ongoing debate about whether only limited solutions exist to address these problems; however, I believe that numerous effective measures can be taken to protect the environment and combat air pollution.
There are several reasons why only limited solutions exist for environmental problems. One major factor is the difficulty of achieving global cooperation,as different countries often have conflicting priorities and levels of development. In addition, economic interests play significant role, since many industries are unwilling to reduce pollution due to the high costs involved and the potential loss of profit. Another important issue is the continued dependence on fossil fuels, which makes it challenging to transition quickly to cleaner energy sources. Furthermore, a lack of public awareness also contributes to the problem, as many individuals are not willing to change their daily habits or adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles.
In my view, effective measures should include reducing reliance on private vehicles and limiting the use of fossil fuels that generate high levels of carbon dioxide emissions. Furthermore, it is essential to address the growing “throwaway culture” by promoting recycling, encouraging the reuse of resources, and fostering more sustainable consumption patterns.
In conclusion, although tackling these problems may not seem easy and challenges to individuals and society at large, I believe that these problems can be effectively addressed in various ways.
