Some said traditional way of teaching that a teacher educate students in a classroom will disappear before 2050. From my perspective, some changes will happen with the rapid development of technology so I partly agree with this idea.
There are several reasons that promote vanishing of typical teaching situation. One of the major factors is that the advanced technology, since it allows students to study without going to school such as online classes, which means chlassroom is not needed any more. In addition, one teacher could educate more students compared to now and it will lead to reduction of the number of teachers. Another reason is the inconvenience of traditional studying. It is quite troublesome because it requires commuting, hiring teachers and managing students which need a lot of laborers and funds.
However, traditional way of teaching is still valuable and worth to exist to some extent. First, it helps ignite students’ creativity and innovation, a classical class is quite interactive between teachers and students, since they are more likely to communicate with each other which is beneficial for teaching. Secondly, it is a guatantee for education equity. Assuring children from families which are not wealthy enough still have chances to attend school. In addition, the typical teaching is more acceptable for most of students because learning at school can be much more efficient compared to other ways.
In conclusion, the developing thchnology might affect the method of teaching and bring some changes but I believe it is not going to be replaced.
