There is an ongoing debate about methods of studying. Some argue that nowadays studying virtually is the most effectual way to study. While some believe that conventional offline learning is still valuable, I think that online learning is more beneficial.
On the one hand, classrooms are beneficial for social interaction. However, there are also some drawbacks to school-based learning. The main problem is the lack of flexibility, due to a strict timetable and need to commute at a specific time. For example, this is difficult for people who live far away or have a part-time job. Moreover, many students are car-dependent because they live far from their school. This means they have to spend a lot of money and time on travel every day. This lost time could be spent on rest or additional homework, which is better for a student’s progress.Additionally, this creates a concern about accidents, especially for the parents of young children.
On the other hand, studying online can provide quick access to any global courses, which may open up opportunities for students to study niche courses that are not available locally.Online learning does not require a specific location to study them, thereby saving money. Furthermore, Online education promotes convenience and freedom, which leads to reduced stress from classroom environment.
In conclusion, both online and offline education have their merits when it comes to effectivity. In my view, online learning could result in better studying because it offers freedom and flexibility. Nevertheless, online learning also requires better personal discipline skills
