As time went on, people started switching to the internet as a more efficient way to get news. In the final period of 2017, the internet started catching up to television as the main media for news, with both being used by 70% of the population. In that same year, 20% of the population used printed newspapers for news, with radio at a slightly higher number at 30%, making the two the least used for news by people.
