In today’s time, it is clearly evident that the majority of people are totally inclined towards taking pictures of themselves even without noticing the extravagant beauty of the popular places where they are standing. This happens not only to get a massive amount of reviews from social media, but also to gain popularity in the society. Analyzing the situation, I express my strong foothold on the view that, though it is good to get likes on platforms like Instagram, the craze is getting out of hand as the public is putting their valuable lives in danger just to enhance their comment section!
One of the substantial reasons behind such a scenario could be the enormous level of escalating craze among the younger generations to post on international platforms. In addition to that, these youngsters receive a massive amount of recognition, which could ultimately boost self-confidence. For an exemplification, one of my friends got an exciting opportunity to act in an advertisement as a few of her vlogs went super viral. As a result, a director offered her an amazing chance which changed her life drastically. Ergo, her friends have also started making the same videos to upload in media, and the trend continues.
A drawback for the same situation which could not be denied is the fact that the craziness of the public has increased tremendously, and they do not even mind putting their one and only life at risk. Additionally, the extravagant beauty of the place remains unexplored as maximum time is dedicated to taking selfies and making videos. For an instance, one of my nieces had put her life in danger just to take a picture with the tiger when she visited Thailand. As a consequence, the mesmerizing views of the mountains and a visit to one of the most famous bridges remained pending. Hence, the main adventure was absolutely neglected just to get a few minutes of imaginary satisfaction from the society.
To reiterate, though taking photographs is the best way to capture fantastic memories, life exists beyond that as well. I strongly opine on the fact that one’s personal life should not suffer to get reviews from strangers.
