Overall, it is evident that the proportion of citizens who migrated due to work opportunities was the highest, while it was due to adventure was the lowest. Notably, the standard of living in Australia and Sweden was much higher than in the UK and Iceland.
In detail, work opportunities accounted for the largest share of migration reasons, at 27%, followed by family and job offers, at about a quarter. The figure for study was much lower, at 15%. Better lifestyle and adventure, in contrast, took the smallest percentage, at 9% and 3%, respectively.
Moreover, based on high living standards , Australia and Sweden were ranked the highest, at about 7,95 mark. The figures for Canada, NNorway and USA were lower, at between 7,8 and 7,9 mark. However, other categories were rated much lower, at all under the 7,7 mark.
