The line graph above demonstrates the average visitor count of a museum in the UK for the seasons summer and winter in 2023.
Overall, it is quite clear that people are more tend to visit the museum in the summer rather than in the winter. Additionally, although in both of the seasons the opening hour is the same, the closing hour changes between seasons.
With a closer look to the summer line of the graph, in the first hours of the day there exists a surge in the visitor number until 11:00, reaching 1300 visitors, then a slower increase can be interpreted until 12:00, reaching the peak which is 1500 visitors. After 12:00 a decreasing trend starts to form up and at 16:00, a plunge appears.
Another look at the graph with this time for the winter line, we can see a steady increase until 10:00, with nearly reaching 600 visitors, with then a trend of fluctuation forms up until 12:00. Eventually, the visitor number decreases by the hour 14:30.
To conclude, people are more tended to visit the museum in the summer compared to the winter, and while in the summer season the average visitors had a surge and plunge, the winter season had a more stable visitor count.
