Many people have different opinion about where student should live during their college studies. Some people think living in a college dormitory is better, While others think student should stay with their families. I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
Living in a college dormitory has many advantages. Students can become more self independent because they have to do many things on their own. They can learn how to manage time. How to schedule the daily task, and how to complete the daily task. They can also make many new friends. They stay close to the college, so they do not waste time travelling every day. This can help them focus more on their studies.
Living with family also has some advantage. Family members can help students when they have problems. Family can give advice and emotional support. They may feel more comfortable and relaxed at home. Living with family can save money because students do not need to spend extra money on a room, food or other daily expenses. For some families, this is very important.
I believe that both choices are good and it depends on the student’s situation. Some students like freedom and want to live on their own, while others prefer staying with their family. I think living in a dormitory is a little better because students learn many useful life skills and become more confident. Also student learn in dormitory that how to give respect to everyone, how to speak with everyone. These experiences can help them in the future.
