Overall, the most significant factor for both immigration and emigration was search for definite job. Whereas, the lowest ratio of immigrants were looking for jobs and the bottommost type of emigrants were due to formal studies.
Definite job were the biggest cause of immigration at 38% followed by formal studies causing 22% of immigration the third biggest source for entry of foreigners was to attend or join at 17%. While 10% of people immigrated to Australia to look for jobs and 13% immigrated for other reasons.
For emigration definite jobs was the major reason upholding 37% emigration. Meanwhile, 21% of emigration was caused by other reasons. Looking for jobs sourced 20% of emigration. However, 16% people who left their country was due to accompany or to join. At 6% the lowest cause of emigration was formal studies.
