Overall, in most of the areas water was spent on agricultural purposes, while only in two areas percentage of water on industrial purpose was more than on agricultural. In comparison, the usage on domestic made up the lowest figure than on other purposes.
Agricultural use, which spent more water recource in 4 areas such as South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia, around 71% and 88%. For instance, the largest figure was shown in Central Asia – 88%. Moreover, even in other areas this percentage had shown large figure. In comparison, the lowest use of water on agricultural was demonstrated by South America 71%.
In other two areas, where use of water had significant place are North America and Europe. In South America the percentage of water use made up 48%, while in Europe it was 53%. In addition, the only purpose where were spent not that much as on two puposes was domestic use. The largest figure made up only 19%, while it was the lowest usage in other areas.
