Firstly offenders mostly realize their wrong actions , statistically a massive part of this group are mentally ill, which leads law-abiding citizens to insecure and unstable situations where we fail protecting ourselves the surrounding of lawbreakers. Separating these troublemakers as well as potentially dangerous individuals from the society guarantee safety for decent civilians .Moreover statistic goes that criminals spread negative influence , so many crimes happen on end , proving the bullying development trend, which starts from humiliation , as we witness even school shootings. Furthermore government authorities try to help these people get on the right path when they can change , placing them in less less harsh conditions, where they won’t be convictioned , with special staff of psychologists let them get through their traumatizing experiences that caused their imprisonment . Thus restriction of freedom is inevitable, existing not only for distancing criminals from public, but also for anticipating new illegal actions. (149words)
It is true that jails detrimentally affect those who get there, even innocent people may end up there, since the court can be biased, disloyal, unscrupulous and prejudiced towards defendant ,this fact shows that the justice system may work incorrectly hence putting people in prison is not the key to peace , besides nobody likes to mention reoffending after release.
