Band 6+: Some people believe that teenagers should spend more time studying, while others think that they should have more free time.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In today’s competitive world, the purpose of education is often debated. While some believe that students should commit more of their time studying in school, others argue that they must have more time to themselves.

On the one hand, being educated in school more often is what mainly takes place in today’s world, however it has it’s ups and downs. Contributing to a higher proportion of one’s time to education can be better for the person themselves, since no such quality education could be provided at home, no matter what the method is. For example, learning centers have been noticed of equipping the child of discipline, required knowledge, and social skills in a way that could not have been recreated at home.

On the other hand, people argue that more free time can contribute to more benefits and a human’s needs. It is said that less time in school can help with pressure, anxiety, better balance, and higher energy levels. However, it could lead to further consequences in the near future. For instance, fewer opportunities to develop essential skills would be a serious issue, as less employment options starts to evolve as an issue.

In my opinion, both of these phenomenons should be treated equally, because each has it’s positive and negative sides. One could contribute to many great advantages, while the other could simply be regretted heavily later on, or vise versa.

In conclusion, balancing education and free time in our daily lives should be considered, as it will not harm us or our future selves, and could be something we would be grateful for.
