The line graph shows the percentages of the use of Twitter by four different age groups from November 2010 till May 2013. The line graph shows the highest percentage by the youngest group between 18-29 years old. while the least usage was by the age group 65 and over.
On November 2011, the age group 18-29 years started about 14% then rose significantly around 20% in 2012. After that, it dropped slightly and remained steadily close to 20% till August 2012. Suddenly, it jumped to 25% and 31%, respectively during 2012 which is the peak. Afterward, it slopped to about 24% on December 2012, and finally rose again to 30%.
Meanwhile, the age group 30-49 started at 6% in 2010 and started to fluctuate till 2012. Then, it noticeably started to increase till 17% by May 2013. On contrary, the last groups 50-64 and 65 and over started at 5% and 4%, showing the lowest percentage. The movement of the 50-64 age remained steady till January 2011. Then, both groups rose and fell till reaching 14% and 5% by the end of the time period, respectively.
