Both the plans represent a public park when it was inaugurated in 1920 and the current version of the same.

The public park is situated to the south of Arnold avenue and to the north of Eldon street. Over the period of time, the park has underwent significant changes with replacement of many older elements with newer elements .

The park was apparently opened in 1920, which has access from Arnold avenue in the north and from Eldon street in the south. It had a fountain in the heart of the park and to the west of it was a stage for musicians . There was a glasshouse in the south-east part and a pond for water plants in the north-east section. Around the edges of the park were the rose garden with seats near them.

Currently, the fountain is replaced by relatively big rose garden with seats encircling it. There is a huge amphitheatre for concerts replacing the stage. In place of the glasshouse, now there is a water feature and similarly the pond is gone and now children’s play area has taken its place with a cafe nearby. The rose garden in the north-west section is surprisingly still intact . An addition to the park is the underground car park in the south east part of the park.
