The table illustrates a breakdown of languages that native English speakers studied the most at the UK Centre for Foreign Language Learning in 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that Arabic was the most popular language for men while Mandarin was for women. Spanish was the language which had the notable gender language.
In 2020, at the UK Centre for Foreign Language Learning, only Polish, French and Mandarin had the percentage of female studiers larger than male studiers. However the proportion between these two language also had the difference. While the disparity between two genders who stuyding Polish and French less than 10%, Madarin had higher difference over 14% with 27% for women and 14% for men.
Besides, the number of the languages which studied by males was a lot, including Arabic, Italian, German, Japanese and Welsh. In this group, Arabic was the only language which had the difference between men and women studiers larger than 10%, because men had 22% and women just had 10%. Although the percentage of two genders was different a lot, at this centre also had Spanish which was the language had the same percentage between male and female learners with 19%
