Over recent decades, using technology to interact with others has become an integral part of people’s daily lives. It is believed by many commentators are of the view that technology such as the internet and cell phones have beneficial effects whereas others feel that it is detrimental to human interaction. In this essay I will examine the benefits and drawbacks of this phenomenon.
From an overall perspective, there are two key advantages of incorporating technology into our relationship. Perhaps the main advantage of why people are in favour of this issue is because it is easy to communicate. For example/ instance, social networks or matrimonial sites are helpful to find new friends with similar interests. A further point in favor of using modern technological devices to form and build relationships is that we can keep in touch with near and dear ones, who are living far away from us. Unlike in the past, when it took months to send a letter abroad, today we can call or text anybody, anytime and anywhere in the world, instantly.
Despite these arguments, there are also various disadvantages to incorporating technology into our relationship. One of the most obvious of these is misunderstanding. A good illustration of this is that while we are busy with talking to our family members or relatives however our loving person can’t connect with us via mobile phone. So that, it could create a huge misunderstanding. As a result, it is going to a breakup. Secondly, the privacy issue is one of the most important problems which incorporating with modern technology. This is because some websites or hackers used the hi-tech to steal our sensitive private data and blackmail us.
In conclusion, it must be said that using modern technological devices to form and build relationship have become a complex issue with no easy solutions. However, it also saves our precious time and money to communicate our beloved ones who lives in long distances.
