The proposition that individuals around the world are willing to have a car, television and a fridge. Some may argue that such a development makes people more redundant and lazier, while I believe that the advantages of these progress outweigh its disadvantages.
Admittedly,. With the invention of car, people can almost go anywhere no matter it is a far distance or just a stone throw away form their home, leaving less chance for them to immerse themselves in nature and generating more carbon dioxide which is harmful to environment. Additionally, when owning a television and a fridge, residents can stain in their apartment for whole day without any exercise or interaction with social scenario, which has the potential to self-isolation and depression.
However, it is undeniable that advancements in technology has contributed to modern society considerably, which has provided citizens with efficiency and convenience. The development of urbanlization and industrialization has significantly accelerated a wide range of innovation which offer people a limitless option of living lifestyle. For instance, available access to private transportation greatly expands our achieving space and give us more opportunity to explore the outside world.
In conclusion, while it is inevitable that these invention can make people over-dependent and exacerbate the climate change, I firmly believe that the convenience and virtuosity these technologies bring can not be underestimated.
