Overall, this process can be divided in to 6 main stages, beginning with collecting old products from recycling bin. This cyclical process allows for the continuous reuse of the glass materials.
At the first stage of the process, consumers need to separate used glass bottles from regular household waste into 2 categories: recyclable and non-recyclable and put the latter in the recycle bin. Next, these bins are picked up and delivered to a treatment plant by waste collection trucks, preparing it for further processes.
At the following stage, these used glass bottles are undergoing washing and sterilization. After being cleaned up, the glass goes to another phase where it is crushed and melted by a heavy machine. Then, this molten glass is molded into new glasses by shaping machine. Finally, these new glass bottles are transported and contributed to retail outlets for consumer purchase. Following use, these bottles can enter the recycling loop once more.
