Band 5+: Schools are no longer necessary because children can get so much information available through the Internet.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Living in the world where internet is continuously developing, it sound like a positive signal for children since they will have the access to this unlimited library of knowledge. However, this also led to a controversial belief. Some people say that schools are no longer necessary for children while others say the opposite. This essay will bring a solution for this topic.

School is still the most important element in the development of children in terms of knowledge. Social media might give people the opportunity to access information such as history, science, lectures, and so on. However, this is also a problem since the range of knowledge is too wide for a child to learn, it will cause confusion for even adults who wanted to learn something let alone a child.

Another problem is that not all the information on the internet is correct and useful. There is no denying the fact that the internet is the best way to study or to learn about everything, but still not all of them are correct. Throughout the history of internet development there have been countless cases where people got into trouble just by reading false information about something. Take the example of the Covid-19 back in 2021 to 2022, a perfect picture to see how internet can affect people badly with just a few misinformation.

In conclusion, the internet is still a good place for children’s development, but they still need someone to guide them to the right direction to growth normally and there is no better option than school.
