Certain individuals believe that History is one of the most significant school subjects; while, other persons says their subjects like Science and Technology plays important role than history. I will present concrete evidence for both these views along with my opinion.
On the one hand, subjects like History which told us about the previous achievements are very crucial in today’s society because it remind us of the culture, discoveries and prominent figures in the past centuries. For instance, if we look back to the achievements made by the scientists that plays an important role as if we don’t remember them; than we won’t be able to proceed further in discoveries made by them. Therefore, it is necessary for us to remember the past heroes and events that took place because it would as in the future.
On the other hand, the subject of History should be our secondary focus; while our main focus should be the field of Science and Technology. Since, it is included in every aspect of life like mobiles, laptops and advanced machines. Thus we should focus in the domain of computer science and software programming. For example, if you look to the advancements of Japan and China that are focusing to build robots because they are not wasting their time to study History. Consequently we should learn advanced skills like Artificial intelligence and Machine learning.
In conclusion, my perspective is that our priority should be given to the field of Science and Technology because it will lead us to the new discoveries in the domain of technology. Therefore, this would only be possible if we learn different skills sets like Data science, Web development and Cyber security.
