Today, there are individuals with lack of housing or living poor conditions in many countries. Many consider that financial assistance can help address this problem. I partly agree with this argument, because giving money can be encouraged step them for new beginnings; however, it is not a continuous solution and does not address the underlying problem.
Financial aid to people with poverty is a viable begging in terms of motivation and courage. These people often cannot know where to start and they also fear to be unsuccessful. For example, a poor person can feel weak around the competitive world and this can lead to hesitation. So, monetary support to these people can increase their self-confidence in order to keep going and confront to life’s challenges.
On the other hand, this problem cannot be solved by just giving money in the sense of long term. Money can just meet temporary expenses, not core requirements like providing with job and accommodation. As of results of survey held in Britain houseless people who were provided with money spent it on food and clothes, after one month their lifestyle back to usual and nothing changed. Thus, we cannot help poor people without get to root of problem.
To conclude homeless individuals can find them power of struggle as result of financial assistance, but it is important to understand that money does not sustainable solution .
