The line graph gives information about typical CO2 emissions per person in different country such as United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal over the period of 40 years from 1967 to 2007.
Overall, it can be seen that both countries Italy and Portugal gradually increased the CO2 emissions in metric tonnes in the both country gradually increases. However, the United Kingdom dropped remarkably.
In 1967, the UK at the point of 11 and Sweden began at more than 9 metric tonnes. Then it exhibited a gradually decrease until 2007. Moreover, it moved from its initial amount of just under 11 to around 9 metric tonnes of emitted CO2. Meanwhile, Sweden first increased carbon dioxide in the year of 1977, then it sharply dropped until around 1987, started a more gradual fall emitting over 8 metric tonnes in the beginning and arriving at under 6 in 2007.
In contrast, Portugal and Italy negligible rise. At the beginning, Italy started at more about approximately 4.5 while Portugal experienced 1 metric tonnes carbon dioxide. They both rose steadier until the year of 1997. Italy remained the same to the end at almost 8 metric tonnes and Portugal was slightly rose almost got to 6 metric tonnes further more Portugal and Sweden come to 6 metric tonnes each CO2 emissions.
