The two floor plans illustrate the changes in student accommodation between 2010 and the present. Overall, the layout has been significantly modified, with an increase in the number of bedrooms and the addition of new facilities, making the space more functional for students.
In 2010, the accommodation featured three student bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a spacious garden surrounding the building. The main entrance led into a hallway, which provided access to different rooms. The living room was adjacent to one of the bedrooms, and the kitchen was positioned centrally. The garden area was extensive, covering both the front and back of the accommodation.
Currently, the layout has been altered to accommodate more students. The living room has been removed and replaced with an additional student bedroom, while another new bedroom has been added in the northern section. Additionally, an en-suite bathroom has been introduced near the main entrance, and the kitchen has been converted into a kitchen/social area to enhance communal space. Moreover, part of the garden has been replaced with a car park, reducing outdoor space while improving accessibility.
