The two maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in a bookstore between 2000 and the present time.In general, the fiction area was the largest among all sections. However, the art, hobbies and cookery sections expanded to replace the large area of fiction. A cafe was built along with tables in the middle of the bookstore.
In 2000, the fiction section occupied the majority of the space, stretching from the entrance to the end of the store. However, in the current layout, the fiction area has been significantly reduced. Art, hobbies, and cookery now cover three-quarters of the space on the left side of the entrance, with fiction only occupying the remaining quarter adjacent to the non-fiction section.
Furthermore, notable changes include the introduction of a cafe in the former non-fiction area, pushing non-fiction to the right corner. In front of the cafe, three tables have been placed for customers to use.
