Dear professor,

My name is Ronit Sukheja and I am a first-year student started my course on Sept 1, 2024. I am writing regarding my mistake of not submitting the project due last week.

I was not in a correct mental state from last whole month due to which I was not able to pay attention to studies. I am living far from home for the first time in my entire life and I was really home sick which made me not able to focus on tasks I should have finished on time. I moved here to do my further studies. Although living alone has really been hard for me as I didn’t have any friends as well.

I am trying really hard to focus on my studies and try to get my attention back on track. I just need time till this weekend to finish this project and submit it to you. Please give me this extension and I will never give you another chance to complaint regarding my studies.
