Some individuals think that authorities need to make decisions about people’s lifestyles; on the other hand, many believe that people should make their own choices. Both views are discussed in the upcoming paragraph, with valid reasons and appropriate examples, along with my opinion.
Governments should interfere in people’s lifestyles to keep society healthy. To explain this, authorities need to check food quality so that people eat healthy food. Not only this, but also in order to protect youth from being diverted to wrong directions, rule makers need to interfere. For instance, authorities must ban tobacco and alcohol, and the government needs to take strict steps against rule breakers.
Apart from this, the government should spread awareness and protect people’s lives. Authorities need to make decisions; in simpler terms, rule makers should print posters and stick them on roadsides and walls, as well as make videos and post them on social media platforms. In addition to this, they can create a team of experts, and they have the power to ban all harmful products. Put more simply, the administration can ban harmful eating products, like cold drinks and fast food, as well as check food quality before sellers can sell those products in the market.
On the other hand, if people’s freedom is snatched away, authorities should not interfere. For instance, the South Korean government sets a number of hairstyles, and South Korean people may only make those types of hairstyles; otherwise, the government takes strict steps against that person.
To recapitulate, the government needs to interfere in people’s lives to keep society healthy. They can spread awareness and protect youth from being diverted in wrong directions. To do that, they can create a team of experts, and they have the power to ban harmful products as well. On the other hand, they need not interfere in people’s lives if people’s freedoms are snatched away.
