Overall,the figures for all types of musical instruments saw an increase, except for Violin wich decreased remarkably. It is clear that the changes that the piano and guitar experienced were deeper than those of drums and violin.
In the first year, the share of piano was as high as that of guitar (around 11%). The figures for both instruments( piano and guitar) rose significantly and reached 20% and 19%, respectively in 2010. This was followed by another increase, although much steeper, in the final year, with figures of piano and guitar peaking at respective 35% and 37%.
There was originally a significant difference between the percentages of drums and violin with 5% and 8%, respectively, as the former remained unchanged, the latter saw a slight decrease in 2010.
The percentages of drums and violin reached their highest and lowest points, respectively with 10% and 5% in 2015.
