The map chart illustrates the current views of an office building and intends to develop in the future for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some features include removing areas and reorganizing rooms such as kitchen, canteen, grass area have all disappeared, whereas others such as stockroom have been still there.
Additionally, the place has undergone number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features such as a coffee machine, outdoor seating area and meeting room.
With the current layout of office building, the entrance of this office, which is located in the southern side, leads to a reception area. Beside the reception, there is a row of 4 small offices which on the opposite side includes a kitchen, canteen and stockroom arranged in order. The restroom is situated in the northeast corner and in front of stock room. Grass areas have been built in a giant place on the west and east sides.
There is more proposed redesign for this office building. The reception is intended to be moved near to small offices and be extended by two offices in the south. Meanwhile, four narrow offices tend to be two wider offices which are on 2 sides of reception. The kitchen and canteen will be becoming two new big offices in the north. The stockroom will stay in place and be reduced in size. Rooms are reduced in size for a more spacious central area. Green space will be replaced by meeting room, restroom and outdoor seating.
